A second sexual assault has been reported at the University of Iowa within the span of a week.
University of Iowa Police say they’ve received a report of a forced fondling that happened at the UI Fieldhouse late Sunday morning. No other information has been made available.
Another forced fondling was reported to UI officials last week. That incident reportedly occurred between 8 and 9 on the night of February 4th at an east side residence hall. It was reported to UI Police just before midnight the same night. The suspect in that case was described as an acquaintance. The matter has since been referred to the Office of Student Accountability.
Forced fondling is considered a form of sexual assault.
