A North Liberty man faces up to a decade in prison after he was reportedly caught stealing copper from an Iowa City office park.
58-year-old Leo Neuzil of Nicholas Lane is accused of entering the former NCS Pearson campus on North Dodge Street on the night of January 5th and taking copper from one of the buildings. Witnesses report seeing Neuzil fleeing the scene while holding stolen copper before he threw it into a ditch and fled.
Neuzil is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary. If convicted, he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
