A Black Hawk County man accused of making threats against City High School has been found guilty and fined.
According to arrest records, 39-year-old Jared Gadson of Cedar Falls tried to gain entry to the October 25th Bettendorf/City High football game at Bates Field at about 7:00. City High staff recognized Gadson and called the police, who arrived and arrested him. Gadson is banned from all Iowa City Community School District property after allegedly making threats of violence against City High in late September and early October.
Gadson was charged with Trespassing. He was found guilty on Thursday and fined $500 by Judge Dana Judas O’Connell.
