A Cedar Rapids woman is accused of crashing her car near the Hawkeye Wildlife Area while intoxicated with her two children inside the vehicle.

The Iowa State Patrol says 32-year-old Mianca Harper of 16th Avenue SW was westbound on Amana Road just after 11:15 Saturday night when she was involved in a single-vehicle accident that caused over $1,500 in damage. Harper allegedly showed signs of intoxication and registered a breath alcohol level of .111%. Her two- and five-year-old children were in the car at the time of the crash.

Harper is charged with Operating While Intoxicated and two counts of Child Endangerment. If convicted on all charges, she faces a maximum of five years in jail.
