A Homestead man accused of exposing himself in Iowa City has been fined and given a suspended sentence.

According to the initial arrest report, 67-year-old James Wallace was at an undisclosed address on Highway 1 West on the afternoon of March 27th when he reportedly exposed himself.
Wallace also allegedly showed obscene material to the victim, who found it offensive.

Wallace was charged with Indecent Exposure, a serious misdemeanor. He was also wanted on marijuana and meth possession charges from an incident on May 3rd. He faced a prison sentence of up to eleven years if convicted on all counts.

Wallace agreed to a plea deal in October, and court records show last Friday Judge Brandon Schrock handed out suspended sentences on the Indecent Exposure and one of the drug charges. The other drug charge was dismissed. Wallace was also fined $1,285.
