A Marshall County man is accused of threatening to kill a North Liberty woman.
30-year-old Michel Tolonde of Marshalltown was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 12:45 Friday afternoon. North Liberty Police say just after 10:15 on the morning of October 23rd Tolonde called the alleged victim at her residence and said, “If something happens to my mother Julia, you and I will die. One will be buried and one will remain. The way I’m seeing how things are going between you and I, I’m seeing that one must be buried, and another go to prison.”
The woman told police she was in fear for her life due to the call.
Tolonde is charged with 1st Degree Harassment. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
