An Iowa City man was arrested after allegedly assaulting an individual after he was told to leave a residence.

The incident reportedly occurred the morning of November 2nd on the 900 block of Rundell Street. 21-year-old Precieux Smith of the Quarters on Highway 6 East was told that he needed to leave. He allegedly became upset and reacted by scratching and biting the victim, leaving visible injuries.

Smith reportedly also took the victim’s cellphone and smashed it to the ground, causing it to break. The phone was valued at $800.

Smith was already wanted for an October incident where he allegedly struck a woman in the face at the Coral Ridge Mall in front of several witnesses.
