A pair of former employees at a North Liberty asphalt business is accused of using company credit cards to make over $10,000 in purchases.

37-year-old Romero Granderson and 28-year-old Hydiea Harris…who live together on 74th Street NE in Cedar Rapids…were booked into the Johnson County jail after 9:00 Friday morning. North Liberty Police say between June of 2023 and June of 2024 the two obtained three different credit cards from their former employer, Asphalt Repair Services, and used them to make over $10,000 in purchases of property and services without the company’s permission.

Granderson and Harris are each charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card Over $10,000. If convicted, they each face a maximum of ten years in prison.
