Marion woman charged after alleged theft of Xbox from friend’s residence

A Marion woman faces jail time after allegedly stealing an Xbox from a residence where she was a house guest.

According to the criminal complaint, 20 year old Brittany Falco of Hemmingway Street was a guest at the victim’s Coral Court residence on May 22nd. While the man was at work that day, Falco allegedly stole his Xbox and controller without his knowledge or consent, and left the residence.

The victim told officers that no one else was home except for his roommate in the other room and the Xbox was no longer in the apartment when he returned home from work.

Between the gaming system and the controller, the victim was out $800 in equipment.

Falco has been charged with 3rd degree Theft, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.
