Cedar Rapids man accused of stalking Solon woman

A Cedar Rapids man has been arrested after a series of stalking incidents against a woman who runs a Solon business.

On April 26th and 27t h of this year, 40-year-old Nickolaus Gould of Adel Street SE attempted to track down the victim at her workout center and allegedly told her gym mates to stay away from the victim or he  would kill them. On April 28th, Gould found the victim at the victim’s gym and threatened to kill gym mates again. He also reportedly threatened the woman.

Gould was given a No Trespass / Harassment warning by ICPD on behalf of the victim.

On May 15th, Gould allegedly attempted to enter the woman’s  business in Solon and was unable to enter due to the locks being changed. He then reportedly left a voicemail referencing following the woman to her gym, saying she was “pissing him off’ and he would bum the business down.

A no contact order was issued on May 30th.

Gould allegedly  tracked the victim down to a friend’s home In Hiawatha on the 4th of July. He reportedly barged Into the home yelling at the friend and the woman until they threatened to call 911 on him and he left.

Police say Gould has also continued violating the No Contact Order In June and July through numerous phone calls and texts.

Gould was booked into the Johnson County Jail early Wednesday and charged with Stalking, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to two years if convicted.
