The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident.
According to a release from the city, the incident occurred in the 3100 block of C Ave NE. At approximately 3:49p.m. Joint Communications Agency dispatchers received a call for shots fired. Upon arrival, Cedar Rapids police officers located a juvenile male with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. On-site officers have located evidence of gunfire in the area and are currently investigating.
