A motorcyclist was taken to the University of Iowa Health Care Campus Medical Center after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Iowa County.
The Iowa State Patrol says 19-year-old Zane Pope of Conroy was driving his 2019 Ford F150 northbound on Western Avenue in Marengo when he turned eastbound onto West Miller Street just before 5:45. Pope struck a westbound Harley Davidson being driven by 52-year-old Craig Hawkins of Marengo. Hawkins was taken via ambulance to UIHC’s Hawkins Drive medical facility for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
