An Elkhorn Nebraska man was arrested last week after allegedly attempting to entice a minor to have sex with him.
Police say 32-year-old Alejandro Gomez-Torres began communicating with a female he believed to be under sixteen years of age. During the conversations, Gomez-Torres allegedly began talking about wanting to meet and about sex acts that he would like to engage in with the girl.
Friday evening, he arrived in Iowa City at a predetermined location, and was arrested.
Gomez-Torres faces one count of Enticing a Minor under 16 for Sexual Purposes and could be sentenced to up to five years in prison if convicted.
