A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a vehicle crash northeast of Wilton in Cedar County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the incident occurred just after 11am Saturday at the intersection of Taylor Avenue and 325th Street. The driver of the car pulled out onto Taylor, ignoring traffic control devices. The cyclist crashed into the passenger side of the car and succumbed to their injuries.
Names of those involved have not yet been released. The driver of the car received unspecified injuries, and their condition is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
