An area transient was arrested earlier this week after an altercation with her longtime boyfriend.

35-year-old Michelle Hudson was apparently in a verbal altercation with the man during the overnight hours of September 16th. The man got into his vehicle to attempt to leave before the argument got worse. Hudson reportedly got in the back seat and scratched him as he was driving.

Arriving police located the vehicle and discovered the man with blood on his face and left arm from the assault.  Hudson, located in the back seat, allegedly had blood in her fingernails from the assault.

When arrested, Hudson reportedly resisted officers by pulling away and going limp.  The couple have been in a relationship for 4-5 years.

Hudson was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault and Interference with Official Acts. She was released on her own recognizance later in the day and will be arraigned at a later date.
