Johnson County Planning Development and Sustainability Department and County Assessors Office returning to permanent locations in the remodeled Administration Building

The Johnson County Planning, Development and Sustainability Department and the County Assessor’s Office will each close for one business day to move back into their permanent locations in the newly remodeled Administration Building.

In addition to a cosmetic upgrade, the remodel includes fire suppression upgrades, more emergency exits, HVAC upgrades, an updated elevator system, and single-user restrooms.

First, the Planning, Development, and Sustainability Department will be closed for business on Tuesday, (Aug. 27). It will resume normal business hours and reopen in its permanent location on the second floor of the Administration Building on Wednesday, (Aug. 28).

The following day, The County Assessor’s Office will be closed for business and will resume normal business hours and reopen in its permanent location on the second floor of the Administration Building on Friday, (Aug. 30).
