A fourth Cedar Rapids resident has been charged for her alleged part in a riot on the Ped Mall last month.

20-year-old Ellianna Jensen of 48th Street NE was booked into the Johnson County Jail at 12:15 Saturday morning.  Iowa City Police say Jensen joined 20-year-old Andreas Williams of Ellis Boulevard NW and 18-year-old Avonus Hodges and 20-year-old Ayrondus Hodges, who live together on K Street SW, in participating in a fight involving about two dozen people near the intersection of College and Dubuque Streets just after 12:45 on the morning of July 21st. Arrest records indicate the suspects punched and stomped on people while they were defenseless on the ground. The fight was eventually broken up, but after officers left the area the four suspects and and two other people allegedly tackled another person and stomped on him. Police returned to the scene and broke up that incident, and the suspects fled on foot. Both incidents were captured on video, and a warrant was issued for the suspects’ arrests.

Police took Ayrondus Hodges into custody after they found him inside TCB Pool Hall on the Ped Mall just after 11:45 on the night of August 3rd. A baggie of marijuana was reportedly found on his person. He’s charged with Participating in a Riot and Possession of a Controlled Substance. If convicted on both charges, he faces a maximum of six years in prison.

Jensen, Williams and Avonus Hodges each face a maximum of five years in prison if convicted of their Rioting charges.
