The planned maintenance closure of the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center pool is being delayed until December 13^th through January 26^th. Crews preparing the pool for its originally-scheduled closure on August 19^th discovered a significant issue with the pool’s plumbing that will likely require more time to procure parts. The likelihood of delays in acquiring the parts would result in an extended closure that would surpass the previously planned 14-day August closure. The pool is expected to operate as needed this fall, as the plumbing issue is specifically tied to the process of draining the pool.
