An Iowa City man has reached a plea deal in a Washington County sexual abuse case.
Online records show 22-year-old Camrin Lucas entered a guilty plea on Friday. Terms of the deal have not been released.
Washington County dispatch records indicate law enforcement made contact with Lucas near his Scott Boulevard residence in April. Lucas had warrants for his arrest out of Washington County, and he was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Lucas was charged with four counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and two counts of Incest for a series of reported incidents at a Kalona residence dating back as far as 2013. The Department of Health and Human Services was informed of the alleged incidents last February, touching off an investigation.
If convicted on all charges, Lucas would have faced a maximum of 50 years in prison. Sentencing has been set for October 3rd.
