A multi-vehicle accident blocked traffic on Interstate 80 west of Williamsburg late Friday night.
The Iowa Department of Transportation reported just before 10:30 p.m. that both lanes of westbound I-80 were blocked about one mile west of the Williamsburg exit. DOT cameras appeared to show a semi with its trailer sideways, blocking both lanes of traffic. The same camera showed the trailer had been removed from the roadway and traffic began slowly passing through the accident scene around 11:30 p.m.
