A pair of Iowa City residents has been charged after they allegedly agreed to fight in-person after an argument on Facebook.

Iowa City Police say 30-year-old Mariah Bentley of South Van Buren Street and 22-year-old Treylisa Westbrook of Scott Court were feuding on the social media app when they agreed to meet on the 2400 block of Whispering Meadow Drive to physically settle their differences. The two were taken into custody at that location just after 7:30 last Thursday night and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Bentley and Westbrook pleaded guilty on Friday and were each fined $105.
