North Liberty man charged after damaging vehicle

A North Liberty man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly becoming upset with his girlfriend and damaging a vehicle.

Police say 24-year-old Tylor Hogan of Holiday Lodge Road damaged the victim’s truck at 4:50 am on the 2400 block of the Coralville Strip. According to the victim, Hogan had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend, and when the victim came to pick her up, Hogan got mad.  He allegedly threw rocks at the victim’s Chevy Silverado, causing approximately $1000 in damage to the driver’s side front and rear windows.

Hogan was charged with 3rd degree Criminal Mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.

Hogan was arrested in March for a second offense Eluding charge; a Case Management conference is scheduled for September 6th and jury trial for October 15th. He faces a sentence of up to ten years if convicted on that charge.
