Gov. Kim Reynolds has appointed a University of Iowa College of Law graduate as a district court judge.
Earlier this week, Reynolds announced her appointment of Elizabeth O’Donnell Reist as a district judge in Judicial District 7.
O’Donnell Reist, of Davenport, serves as Senior Assistant County Attorney for the Scott County Attorney’s Office. She received her undergraduate degree from Loras College and her law degree from the UI College of Law.
O’Donnell Reist fills a vacancy created following the retirement of the Hon. Marlita A. Greve. Judicial District 7 includes Muscatine, Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, and Scott counties.
