A Cedar Rapids man faces up to over a decade in prison after reportedly being found with illegal drugs.

27-year-old Eathan McMahon of Grande Avenue SE was in contact with North Liberty police near the intersection of Penn Street and Penn Court Monday night. He was reportedly found in possession of approximately 50 2-gram THC cartridges, marijuana, and THC wax.

A baggie was also discovered containing a blue pill with a label consistent with the prescription drug Alprazolam.

McMahon was arrested and charged with a Controlled Substance violation, Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, and Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug. If convicted on all counts, McMahon could be sentenced to a maximum 11 years in prison.
