A Washington County man is accused of trying to entice a minor into sex acts in Iowa City.
According to arrest records, 31-year-old Blake Winder of Washington began communicating with a female he believed to be under the age of 16. Winder allegedly stated he wanted to engage in sex acts with the girl, and he reportedly arranged to meet her in Iowa City so they could go to her residence to perform those sex acts.
Winder was met by Iowa City Police at the pre-determined location and charged with Enticing a Minor for Sexual Purposes. If convicted, he faces a maximum of five years in prison.
