Four workers were injured Thursday morning after the wind caused equipment to tip over at an Iowa County construction site.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office reports a wind gust knocked over a truss being placed by a crane on the 2700 block of 110th Street near Norway. Two of the four victims suffered what the sheriff’s office described as serious injuries, including one being airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Two other workers suffered minor injuries that still required transportation to a hospital.
