Hawkeye baseball alum Ty Langenberg will once again be pitching in the Corridor.
The right-hander was promoted Tuesday from low-Class A Fort Myers to high-Class A Cedar Rapids. Langenberg was 3-3 in Fort  Myers with a 3.38 ERA in nine starts, including going 3-0 in his last five.
Langenberg was an 11th round pick by the Minnesota Twins last summer. His best season at Iowa was in 2022, when he went 7-2 with a 3.71 ERA.
The Kernels are currently on the road, but will return to Cedar Rapids next week when they host Peoria.
