An Ainsworth man faces jail time after allegedly driving while intoxicated and having a weapon in his truck.

Police say 26-year-old Jessup Kremer was called in as a reckless driver heading northbound on Highway 218 Saturday night.  A Sheriff’s Deputy found his F350 Super Duty truck and reportedly observed him swerving all over the road and varying his speed.  Once stopped, Kremer allegedly had bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech.  He reportedly admitted to drinking.

Kremer refused field testing but agreed to a PBT which showed his breath-alcohol level at .240 percent, three times the legal limit to operate a vehicle. In addition, he admitted to having a firearm in the driver’s side door.

Kremer was charged with first offense OWI and Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated. If convicted on both counts, he could be sentenced to up to two years in jail.
