Johnson County Jail inmate accused of intentionally breaking kiosk

An inmate at the Johnson County Jail is accused of intentionally breaking a kiosk at the facility.

According to arrest records, 30-year-old Nico Johnson Williams of Calumet City, Illinois was seen on camera punching a kiosk in his cell block just before 9:15 on the night of May 20th. The punch broke the screen and caused an estimated $955.94 in damage.

Johnson Williams is charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.

Johnson Williams is awaiting a July 9th trial on numerous charges after he allegedly threatened two people with a firearm at an apartment on 4th Avenue Place in Coralville last October. If convicted on those charges, he faces a maximum of 50 years in prison.

Johnson-Williams has a history of previous felony convictions.
