The Johnson County Conservation Board has announced a special closed-door meeting to discuss what is described as a “law enforcement investigation”.
That’s according to the meeting agenda released Friday night. The agenda cites a part of Iowa’s open meetings law that states a meeting may be closed to the public “to avoid disclosure of specific law enforcement matters, such as current or proposed investigations or inspection or auditing techniques or schedules, which, if disclosed, would enable law violators to avoid detection.”
The special meeting is scheduled for 7:00 Monday night in the Ambulance Service and Medical Examiner Facility on South Dubuque Street.
