Allegedly smashing a car windshield with a dog leash has led to an Iowa City man’s arrest.
Iowa City Police say at about 2:00 on the morning of May 12th 24-year-old Robert Duncan of Fairchild Street smashed the windshield of a vehicle parked on the 800 block of East College Street. He reportedly admitted to investigators to committing the act. A motive is not listed in police records.
Damage to the windshield is estimated at $1,000.
Duncan is charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
