All-American Nelson Brands has announced he will once again wrestle for the University of Iowa. The 2023 fifth-place finisher at 174 pounds is coming off a one-year gambling suspension. Brands says he plans to use his medical hardship year to return to the UI.
Also on Tuesday, four-time All-American Kyle Parco posted to Instagram that he would be transferring to Iowa. The 149-pounder and three-time Pac-12 champion had previously wrestled at Fresno State and Arizona State.
