Democratic primary candidates for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors will participate in a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Johnson County, Iowa, from 7-8:30pm on May 21 (Tuesday) at the Iowa City Senior Center.
The five candidates, Bob Conrad, Lisa Green-Douglass, Royceann Porter, Mandi Remington and Rod Sullivan, are vying for three spots on the November general election ballot and are all expected to attend the forum.
Audience members may submit questions for the candidates at the forum. The forum is open to the public.
The event will be streamed on the LWVJC Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/LWVJCIA/) . Recordings will be posted after the forum on www.lwvjc.org, and www.citychannel4.com.
. The primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 4.
