The Domestic Violence Intervention Program is seeking supply donations for its emergency shelter.
The organization has posted on its Facebook page that its current needs include pillows, infant and children’s clothing of all sizes, baby wash, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, Black hair care products, bonnets for hair, and lotion.
Those interested in making a donation can set up a drop-off appointment by calling the DVIP at 319-359-9353, or they can drop the items off in-person at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on East Market Street in Iowa City. Remote donations can be made through the DVIP Amazon Wish List.
