The City of Iowa City is seeking public input regarding three pending park projects, including the development of a new park in western Iowa City.

Residents who missed last week’s three public forums at the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center can now share their thoughts through online surveys. The three projects include improvements to Brookland Park and College Green Park, as well as the development of a new park on Shannon Drive near West High School.

The online surveys and further information on the projects can be found at icgov.org/ParkProjects. Input is being accepted through 5:00 Saturday night. Feedback gathered during this stage will help shape the design for the projects, which are expected to begin construction in the spring of 2025.

Questions and comments can be emailed to parksandrecreation@iowa-city.org.
