The Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office now has its own app.

Sheriff Quinn Riess announced the launch of the app Friday morning, calling it a “one stop resource for all things involving the Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office and the Muscatine County Jail.”

The sheriff’s office says the app will also be useful to those who live outside Muscatine County, including those wanting to know about inmates being housed at the Muscatine County Jail for other counties.

The app also includes links to commissary deposits, inmate bookings, submitting electronic tips, researching sex offenders in the area, push notifications, and more.

The Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a brand of OCV, LLC., which specializes in mobile app development for sheriffs’ offices and public safety organizations across the country.

The app is now available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching “Muscatine County Sheriff, IA” or scanning the QR code below.
