Iowa City’s City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission will receive a report from the project consultant team regarding community input results and project recommendations on the City Park Pool project during a work session meeting this afternoon.
According to a release from the city, the session begins at 4 p.m. at City Hall in Emma Harvat Hall. The meeting is open to the public; however, public comment is not permitted during work sessions.
Over 1000 people participated in an online public survey available between February 15 and March 8 to provide feedback on the four City Park Pool designs.
City Council will select a preferred concept at a later date.
Additional information about all four pool concepts can be found at icgov.org/jumpin.
