An Iowa City woman has been taken into custody after being wanted for several  offenses.

38-year-old Bridget Dual of Sycamore Street had been wanted for allegedly breaking into a vehicle at the Hawk Ridge Apartments during the overnight hours of January 5th. She and an unnamed accomplice reportedly stole over $2000 worth of merchandise from a vehicle.  Search warrants were granted , and the two were found in possession of some of the stolen items from the vehicle, including an IPad that had Dual’s phone number entered in an attempt to gain access to the victim’s bank accounts. Dual and the accomplice were also accused of using a card stolen from a vehicle to illegally purchase nearly $400 worth of items on November 23rd, and an additional purchase at Walmart on the 25th for nearly the same amount.

A request to revoke Dual’s probation also notes a Forgery charge out of Washington County on April 10th.
