Cedar Rapids woman charged with contempt for violating no contact order

A Cedar Rapids woman was charged with contempt after violating a no-contact order that was issued last month.

The incident involved 24-year-old Amari McCutcheon of Miller Avenue Southwest.  On April 18^th, she allegedly posted the mug shot of a Johnson County resident who is a protected party in a no-contact order issued and served on March 6^th.

Screen shots of McCutcheon’s post clearly show her name and time the post was made. When interviewed, she reportedly admitted to making the post.

A warrant was issued April 25^th and served on Monday. An additional no-contact order was issued by Judge Brandon Schrock, and a hearing scheduled for May 9^th.
