Gov. Reynolds appoints UI graduate as District Associate Judge

Gov. Kim Reynolds has announced her appointment of University of Iowa graduate Jordan Brackey as a district associate judge in Judicial Election District 5C.

Brackey, of Des Moines, is an assistant Polk County attorney for the Juvenile Division.  He received an undergraduate degree from UI and his law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law.

Brackey fills a vacancy created following the retirement of the Hon. Romonda Belcher.  Judicial Election District 5C includes Polk County.
