Florida woman accused of using fake passport to access account information at Coralville bank

Coralville Police say a Florida woman used a forged passport to access the bank account of a local resident and steal thousands of dollars.

63-year-old Robin Parker of Orlando was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 8:15 Friday night. According to arrest records, Parker entered MidWestOne Bank on 1^st Avenue just before 11:15 on the morning of April 5^th and used a forged passport with the alleged victim’s personal information to withdraw $3,800 from the person’s account without permission.

Parker is charged with Identity Theft Involving Between $1,500 and $10,000 and 2^nd Degree Theft. If convicted on both charges, she faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
