An Illinois man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly running in front of a police car and then attempting to get in.

The incident occurred just before 3am near the intersection of Market and Clinton streets.  18-year-old Montgomery Quinlan of Antioch, northwest of Chicago, reportedly ran into traffic in front of the squad car and then attempted to get inside.

Upon contact, Quinlan allegedly had the odor of ingested alcohol, slurred speech, and bloodshot watery eyes. He was taken into custody, where a search incident to arrest reportedly turned up two fictitious Illinois driver licenses.

Quinlan faces up to 13 months in jail if convicted on the public intoxication and fake ID possession charges.
