A Davenport man was arrested early Friday after allegedly driving to Iowa City in a perceived attempt to engage in sex acts with a minor girl.
According to police, 34-year-old Deondre Holloway began communicating with a female he believed to be under the age of 16. He allegedly admitted that he wanted to engage in sexual activities with the girl and described in detail what he wanted to do.
Holloway reportedly sent photos of an erect penis and videos of himself masturbating and having sex with another female to the girl.
He then allegedly made arrangements to drive to the girl’s residence, where he was going to sneak in and engage in sex acts with her. Once he drove to the agreed upon Iowa City location, Holloway was located and detained at 1:10 this morning.
Holloway was charged with Enticing a Minor under 16 for Sexual Purposes, and Telephone Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor. If convicted, he faces a maximum prison sentence of seven years.
