A Mahaska County man is accused of assaulting and injuring a pair of downtown Iowa City nightclub employees early Sunday morning.
Iowa City Police say 23-year-old Kyle Blair of Oskaloosa was being removed from El Ray’s Live and Dive just before 1:15 a.m. when he struck two different bar employees in the face multiple times. He also reportedly struck a woman who was trying to break the fight up. Police say the victims suffered minor facial injuries.
Blair is charged with two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Injury. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
