A Cedar Rapids man is expected to recover after allegedly being stabbed on a party bus Friday
afternoon.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office reports they were called around 3:45pm to Highway 30 on reports
of the incident. Upon arrival, 41-year-old James Morgan had been stabbed.

Deputies arrested 32-year-old Jesse Davis, also of Cedar Rapids, and charged him with Assault with
Willful Injury and Going Armed with Intent. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

It’s believed the two had prior issues before the stabbing on the bus, which was bringing them back
from a business event in Des Moines.
