A Muscatine man was arrested after an investigation discovered that he allegedly propositioned a minor for sex.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on November 10th, 2021. 22-year-old John Logan of Schley Avenue allegedly offered to pay and give goods to a 16 year old minor for them to perform oral sex on him. When interviewed, Logan reportedly admitted to soliciting and that he knew that the victim was under 18 years of age.
A warrant was issued last week, and Logan was booked at the Johnson County Jail Thursday. He faces one count of Prostitution, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.
