Cedar Rapids woman accused of stealing lottery tickets from Solon convenience store

A Cedar Rapids woman faces charges that she stole lottery tickets from a Solon convenience store.

65-year-old Frances Corbett of 16^th Avenue SW was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 2:00 Tuesday morning. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says Corbett took lottery tickets from Casey’s on South Market Street just after 7:00 on the night of December 28^th. She’s charged with Theft of Lottery Tickets and 5^th Degree Theft. If convicted, she faces a maximum of over five years in prison.
