Local businessman Bob Conrad has announced his candidacy for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.
Conrad lives in rural Johnson County and owns Sprouts Kid Academy in Tiffin. He also currently serves as a Public Resource Officer with the Iowa State Patrol.
Conrad has served on the Johnson County Planning and Zoning Board and the Rural Housing Trust Fund Board. According to a news release from Conrad’s campaign, he volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, 100 Men Who Care, the Iowa City Free Lunch Program, and he’s a Democratic Central Committee Member.
