Former President Donald Trump nearly swept the Iowa Republican caucuses, winning 98 of the state’s 99 counties.

Johnson County kept Monday night from being a sweep for the embattled Trump, who faces numerous criminal and civil cases while he continues his campaign for the White House.

Steve Kornacki from NBC reports former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley won Johnson County by just one vote, 1,271 to 1,270.

CNN reports Trump won Iowa with 51% of the vote. Florida governor Ron DeSantis finished second with 21.2%, with Haley coming in third at 19.1%.

Vivek Ramaswamy finished a distant fourth with 7.7%, and subsequently suspended his campaign.

The candidates move on to New Hampshire’s primary next Tuesday.
