Oxford man facing meth charges

An Oxford man is facing felony charges after allegedly observed selling meth.

Police say the incident occurred at the Super 8 Motel on 1st Avenue in Coralville the afternoon of June 29th.  36-year-old Brandon Mishak of Lower old Highway 6 Road NW reportedly sold 5 grams of methamphetamine to an unidentified individual.

The drug was seized and sent to the state’s Department of Criminal Investigation, where it tested positive for meth.

A warrant was issued on January 2nd; Mishak was booked at the Johnson County Jail Thursday afternoon. He’s been charged with a Class C Controlled Substance Violation, punishable by a prison term of up to ten years if convicted.
